Tue Sep 24 04:01:00 UTC 2024: ## Danish Prime Minister Calls for Unrestricted Warfare Against Russia, Ignoring National Security Concerns

**Copenhagen, Denmark** – Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has called for NATO nations to remove all restrictions on the use of their weapons against Russia in Ukraine. In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Frederiksen argued that Russia’s President Vladimir Putin aims to conquer all of NATO and that any concessions would only embolden him.

“This thinking that if we allow him to take Ukraine or parts of Ukraine, then he will be satisfied, I disagree,” Frederiksen stated. She went on to criticize the discussion of “red lines” – warnings from Russia about NATO actions that could be seen as provocative – as a “mistake” and “simply giving the Russians too good a card in their hands.”

Frederiksen’s stance suggests an absolute refusal to consider Russia’s national security concerns, even privately within NATO. She declared that the “most important red line has been crossed already” when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, and that NATO should never negotiate with Russia.

Furthermore, Frederiksen broadened the conflict beyond a regional one, stating that “this is not a European conflict, this is a global conflict” due to Russia’s increasing ties with North Korea and Iran.

When asked about the U.S. position on providing Ukraine with weapons capable of striking deep into Russia, Frederiksen declined to comment, potentially suggesting a divergence of views within NATO.

This aggressive stance from the Danish Prime Minister raises concerns about the escalating conflict and the potential for a wider war. Her call for unrestricted warfare against Russia and dismissal of Russia’s security concerns could further exacerbate tensions and potentially lead to unintended consequences.
