**LOS ANGELES, CA** – LeBron James, a fellow sports icon, has expressed his admiration for Tom Brady’s foray into NFL broadcasting. During a recent appearance on the DraftKings podcast, James was asked about potentially joining the world of sports commentary himself.
“I definitely love the sport. I love basketball, I love football,” James shared. “I watch it not only as a fan, but also just breaking down matchups and things of that nature. I was brought into sports. When you grow up in Northeast Ohio, you grow up in sports. I see Tom Brady doing it. He’s been great so far. We will see, even if it’s just a guest appearance, one game or two when I’m done playing – It’s always fun to give back to the game.”
James has previously hosted a basketball film breakdown podcast called “Mind The Game” and co-hosted simulcast editions of his talk show, “The Shop,” for Thursday NFL games on Amazon Prime.
Despite his previous ventures into sports broadcasting, James is currently focused on his 22nd NBA season, where he will be making history as the first player to be teammates with his son, Bronny, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in June.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady is three games into his new role as the lead NFL analyst for FOX Sports, alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi. He is set to call Super Bowl LIX on FOX in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.
Brady also contributes weekly analysis exclusively to FOX Sports digital platforms, including his “LFG! Player of the Game,” “3 Stars of the Week,” and his weekly “Top 5 NFL Teams” rankings.
