**Patna, India:** The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the 70th Combined Competitive Examination and other examinations for 2024, inviting applications for a total of 1,957 vacancies. The application window opens on September 28th and closes on October 18th, with interested candidates encouraged to apply through the official BPSC website.

The 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination requires a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates aiming for the Child Development Project Officer position must also hold a bachelor’s degree and choose one of the following optional subjects for the main examination: (List of optional subjects to be added here).

The BPSC has implemented a policy of five attempts for competitive exams throughout their career for Bihar government service candidates. Additionally, these candidates enjoy a 5-year age relaxation, while candidates with disabilities benefit from a 10-year age relaxation.
