A pristine 1966 Ford Mustang convertible is currently being auctioned on Bring a Trailer, a popular online platform for classic car enthusiasts. This particular Mustang, finished in Wimbledon White with a black convertible top, boasts a 289ci V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.

The car has undergone a significant refurbishment since being acquired by the seller in 2017. This included replacing the floor pans, re-trimming the interior in black vinyl, and overhauling the fuel system. The interior features black “Pony” upholstery, coordinated carpets and trim panels, a center console, and woodgrain accents.

Additional features include a chrome luggage rack, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, polished 15″ American racing wheels, and an AM radio with an eight-track player.

Despite its impressive restoration, the seller notes that the under-dash air conditioning system and the 8-track player are not functional. The five-digit odometer reads 29k miles but is currently inoperable, making the total mileage unknown.
