**Mumbai:** Amazon India is doubling down on its influencer marketing strategy, announcing significant commission rate increases for its 50,000 strong creator network in anticipation of its flagship Great Indian Festival sale.
This move, according to Amazon, aims to empower creators and deliver a more engaging shopping experience for customers. The revised model offers influencers up to double their standard commission rates, with key categories like apparel, beauty, appliances, and home goods seeing the biggest increases.
Additionally, Amazon has introduced target-linked incentives of up to 15% of revenue generated, rewarding influencers whose content drives sales.
“This increased commission rate from Amazon.in for the Great Indian Festival is a massive win for creators like myself,” stated influencer Surbhi Bhargava, aka Mombuddy. “With the festive season approaching, people are actively looking for deals, and this extra boost means we can be even more helpful in guiding them towards the perfect purchases.”
To further enhance the shopping experience, Amazon Live will host over 1,500+ live streams across categories including mobiles, home appliances, and fashion, featuring hundreds of creators interacting directly with customers, answering questions, and offering limited-time deals.
The Great Indian Festival sale begins on September 27th, with Prime members gaining early access 24 hours prior.
