**Los Angeles, CA** – Marvel Studios has dropped the first trailer for their highly anticipated film, “Thunderbolts,” slated for a theatrical release on May 2, 2025. The film brings together a diverse cast of reformed villains, forced to work together for the U.S. government in covert operations.

The “Thunderbolts” team boasts a star-studded lineup including Sebastian Stan (Captain America), Florence Pugh (Black Widow), and David Harbour (Black Widow), alongside Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine). Adding to the mystery, “Top Gun: Maverick” star Lewis Pullman joins the cast as the enigmatic “Bob.”

The trailer sets a dark and gritty tone, showcasing the team’s checkered past and the looming threat they face. Pugh’s character delivers the chilling message, “Everyone here has done bad things. Shadow ops, robbing government labs, contract kills… Someone wants us gone.”

Louis-Dreyfus, playing the mastermind behind this unconventional team, emphasizes the moral ambiguity of their situation: “We’re brought up with this belief that there are good guys, and there are bad guys. But eventually, you come to realize that there are bad guys, and there are worse guys. And nothing else.”

Based on Kurt Busiek’s popular comic book series, “Thunderbolts” is directed by Jake Schreier, with Kevin Feige serving as producer. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the film’s release, ready to see these reformed villains navigate their morally gray world and discover what forces are seeking to eliminate them.
