Hyderabad, India – Telugu cinema icon Chiranjeevi has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the “Most Prolific Film Star in Indian Film Industry – Actor/Dancer.” The prestigious award was presented to the actor by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan at a special event in Hyderabad on Sunday, September 22nd, marking the 46th anniversary of Chiranjeevi’s film debut.
The Guinness World Records certificate acknowledges Chiranjeevi’s impressive career spanning over 45 years, which includes an astounding 156 films, over 24,000 dance moves, and 537 songs.
Chiranjeevi expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, stating, “This moment is unforgettable. I never sought recognition from the Guinness World Records, but it feels incredible to be honored for my dancing. It is dancing that truly made me a star and brought me so many rewards throughout my career.”
He also took to social media to thank all those who have supported him throughout his journey, especially the producers and directors who gave him opportunities.
Chiranjeevi’s son, actor Ram Charan, was visibly proud, posting congratulatory messages and pictures on social media. “Congratulations Appa, for achieving the Guinness World Record as the Most Prolific Film Star in Indian Cinema!” he wrote, adding that his father’s “hard work is an inspiration to me & millions.”
Aamir Khan, who considers Chiranjeevi an “elder brother,” shared his admiration for the actor’s passion and dedication, remarking, “If you notice him in any song of his, his own heart is in it, and he is enjoying himself.”
