**Kingsmeadow, London -** Chelsea’s Under-21s were left heartbroken after a dramatic 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in their Premier League 2 clash on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues started brightly, with Reiss Russell-Denny opening the scoring with a fine finish in the 36th minute. Chelsea dominated possession and created numerous chances, but West Bromwich defended resolutely.
The second half saw Chelsea continue to press, but it was West Brom who found the net first, Harry Whitwell equalising after a quick counter-attack.
