**Beijing, China** – OnePlus has confirmed the upcoming launch of its flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in October in China. The device is expected to be one of the first to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and a second-generation BOE X-series OLED display.
New leaks reveal that the OnePlus 13 will boast a whopping 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage, the same configuration as its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. While the 24GB variant was previously exclusive to China, OnePlus might bring it to international markets due to the increasing demand for high RAM in AI-intensive tasks. The company is also considering increasing the base RAM to 16GB.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced higher than the OnePlus 12, with the price increase likely affecting the top-end variant. The phone’s design will reportedly feature micro-curved edges, and it will house a large 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging. The camera setup is also rumored to receive an upgrade, with improved triple 50MP rear shooters.
While the OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China in late October, an international release is likely to happen sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
