**Aberdeen, UK and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (October 26, 2023)** – Subsea7 SA, a leading provider of subsea services, has secured multiple significant contracts across the globe, demonstrating its continued commitment to the offshore energy sector.

In the UK, Subsea7 has been awarded a “sizeable” contract by Serica Energy for the development of the Belinda field in the Central North Sea. Valued between $50 million and $150 million, the contract encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a 3.1-mile production pipeline, a gas lift line, and an electro-hydraulic controls umbilical. Offshore activities are scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

Meanwhile, Subsea7 has also secured a “super-major” contract, exceeding $1.25 billion, from Petrobras for the development of the Búzios 9 field off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This contract involves the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning of 63.4 miles of rigid risers and flowlines for the steel lazy wave production system. Project management and engineering will begin immediately, with offshore operations scheduled for 2026 and 2027.

Adding to these major project wins, Subsea7 has also secured four long-term day-rate contracts for pipelay support vessels (PLSVs) from Petrobras, totaling over $1.25 billion. The contracts, for vessels Seven Rio, Seven Cruzeiro, Seven Sun, and Seven Waves, range from three to four years in duration and will be recorded in the backlog in the second quarter.

These contracts demonstrate Subsea7’s expertise in both major project development and long-term vessel support, solidifying its position as a leading player in the global offshore energy market.
