Legendary musician Stevie Wonder will embark on a 10-date US tour, titled “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” starting next month. The tour kicks off in Pittsburgh on October 8th and wraps up in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 30th.
Tickets go on sale at 12pm local time on September 20th via Ticketmaster. There will be no presales, so all tickets will be released during the general sale.
Wonder, known for his iconic hits and powerful voice, has stated that the tour is a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.” He will also be offering a portion of complimentary tickets to community members working to address social issues.
The tour shares the same name as Wonder’s recent single “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” marking his first new song in four years. Fans can expect to hear some of his most beloved songs during the tour, including “Superstition,” “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” and “I Wish.”
Wonder’s tour comes on the heels of his recent appearance on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” album and his performance at the Democratic National Convention alongside John Legend and Sheila E.
