**Ukraine:** On Wednesday morning, MEPs will discuss the latest developments in Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine with Commission Vice-President Dombrovskis. The discussion will center on the EU’s financial and military support to Kyiv, leading to a vote on a resolution on Thursday.
**Venezuela:** The Parliament will also assess the outcome of the July 28th presidential elections in Venezuela, with the lead opposition candidate having fled the country and the Maduro regime continuing to repress political dissidents.
