**IRVING, TEXAS (September 20, 2024)** – CHRISTUS Health, a renowned international not-for-profit Catholic health system, has announced the acquisition of Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas from Steward Health Care. The move ensures the continued operation of the hospital, preventing its potential closure.
