**New York City, NY** – The NYPD is on the hunt for two suspects who allegedly hijacked and crashed a subway train in Queens last week.

The incident occurred at the Briarwood station on September 12th. According to police, the suspects, a man and a woman, boarded a parked, unoccupied train at around midnight and managed to start it. They then drove the train before crashing it into another train.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. However, the suspects fled the scene on foot before authorities could apprehend them.

The male suspect is described as having a slim build and light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue tank top, red shorts, and carrying a black backpack. The female suspect is described as having a medium build and medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a pink shower cap, a pink sleeveless shirt, pink shorts, and carrying a pink handbag.

The NYPD has released photos of the suspects and is urging anyone with information about the incident to call 800-577-TIPS. The investigation is ongoing.
