**Paphos, Cyprus:** Paphos police are investigating two separate fires that occurred in the village of Prodromi on Tuesday, one involving a car and the other a livestock shed.

The first fire broke out around 5pm, engulfing a car parked in the village. The vehicle belonged to a 38-year-old man residing in Limassol, who was visiting the village temporarily. The fire department managed to extinguish the blaze, but not before it caused significant damage to the right side of the car’s front. Experts from the fire brigade and the electromechanical service are scheduled to visit the site on Wednesday to determine the cause of the fire.

The second incident occurred around 8:30pm, when a livestock shed belonging to a 30-year-old man was completely destroyed by fire. The wooden and metal structure was razed to the ground, but fortunately, no animals were injured. The remains of the shed will also be examined on Wednesday to determine the cause of the fire.

Authorities are currently investigating both incidents, treating them as potential arson cases.
