Tue Sep 17 07:05:12 UTC 2024: ## Arsenal Unfazed by Haaland’s Goal Spree, Remain Focused on Their Own Game

**LONDON, UK** – Despite the prolific goal-scoring form of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has dismissed any fear or intimidation from the Norwegian forward. The Gunners, who face City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, remain confident and focused on their own game.

“Erling scoring again… it is starting to make us laugh,” Jorginho said, acknowledging Haaland’s recent scoring rampage. “We watch all the games, we love the Premier League. We watch City too, which is normal, but it doesn’t get to our head. We need to focus on us.”

Haaland has been in sensational form, netting nine goals in four league games, including two hat tricks, and is on the verge of scoring his 100th goal for City across all competitions. He’ll be aiming for that milestone in Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Inter Milan.

Jorginho praised Arsenal’s improved mentality since last season, highlighting their recent 1-0 win over Tottenham despite missing key players like captain Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice. “You learn more about each other… everyone wants to improve and wants the best for the team. When you put the team in first place, I think just good things can happen,” he added.

Arsenal, who finished second in the league last season, will begin their European campaign at Atalanta on Thursday. They are looking to continue their positive start to the season and will be hoping to repeat their success against City from last year, when they won 1-0 at home and drew 0-0 away.
