Sun Sep 15 17:31:39 UTC 2024: ## Oklahoma Football Remains Steady in National Polls

**NORMAN, OK -** The Oklahoma Sooners held their positions in both major national polls this week, remaining at No. 13 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the AP Top 25. The rankings were released Sunday following Oklahoma’s hard-fought 34-19 victory over Tulane in Week 3.

The Sooners (3-0) will look to continue their winning streak this Saturday as they host the Tennessee Volunteers (3-0) in a highly anticipated matchup. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

Oklahoma’s defense proved crucial in securing the win over Tulane, stepping up late to prevent an upset. The Sooners now face a stern test against a Tennessee team that has also started the season undefeated.

Other teams receiving votes in the Coaches Poll include Illinois, Washington State, Arizona, and several others. The AP Top 25 also included Memphis, Boise State, Syracuse, and more.
