**Hyderabad, India -** The Jana Sena Party, led by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, has severed ties with choreographer Shaik Jani Basa, known as Jani Master, following a zero FIR filed against him for sexual assault. The party issued a statement on X, formerly Twitter, announcing that Jani Master has been “ordered to stay away from Jana Sena party activities” effective immediately.

The decision comes after a 21-year-old woman accused Jani Master of sexually assaulting her multiple times. The woman, who worked as an assistant choreographer under Jani Master, alleges that the assault occurred during shoots in Mumbai and Hyderabad. According to the police, the woman filed a complaint stating that she was threatened with termination if she reported the assaults.

Jani Master previously enjoyed a close relationship with Pawan Kalyan and had campaigned for the Jana Sena Party during the Andhra Pradesh elections. He also worked with Pawan Kalyan in the past and rallied his support behind the actor, who now serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The party’s decision to distance itself from Jani Master comes after widespread public criticism and calls for action against the choreographer. The police have booked Jani Master under sections 376(2)(n), 506, and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and have launched an investigation into the matter.
