**Hyderabad, India:** Jani Master, a popular choreographer and member of the Jana Sena party, has been suspended from all party activities following allegations of sexual assault. The decision was made by the party, led by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, after a case was registered against Jani Master in Hyderabad.
The Raidurgam police in Cyberabad booked a case against Jani Master based on a complaint by a 21-year-old woman, also a choreographer, who accused him of multiple instances of sexual assault. The alleged incidents took place during film shoots in various cities including Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, spanning from 2017 to 2019. The victim claimed that Jani Master threatened her against revealing the assaults and even sent a threatening message indicating her career would be sabotaged.
This is not the first time Jani Master has been accused of misconduct. In 2019, he was sentenced to six months in jail for a brawl at a college in 2015. Earlier this year, another dancer, Satish, filed a complaint accusing Jani Master of harassment and preventing him from securing work opportunities.
The Jana Sena has stated that the suspension of Jani Master is effective immediately. The police investigation is currently underway.
