**Hyderabad, India:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express train between Nagpur and Secunderabad on Monday. The train, featuring 20 coaches including two executive class and 18 chair car coaches, will begin its operations on 19th February.
This semi-high-speed train, marking the first Vande Bharat service between Maharashtra and Telangana, will be a boon for travelers, including businessmen, IT professionals, and students.
The train will depart from Nagpur railway station at 5:00 AM daily, except Tuesdays. It will make stops at Sevagram, Chandrapur, Balharsha, Ramagundam, Kazipet, and reach Secunderabad at 12:15 PM. The return journey will depart from Secunderabad at 1:00 PM and reach Nagpur at 8:20 PM.
The train offers a comfortable and faster journey compared to other options. Ticket prices for the chair car class are set at ₹1500 from Secunderabad to Nagpur and for the executive class, the price is ₹2875.
The introduction of this new Vande Bharat service is expected to boost connectivity between Nagpur and Secunderabad, benefitting the economic and social development of both regions.
