**KATHMANDU, September 15, 2024:** The Nepali stock market experienced a significant decline on Sunday, with the NEPSE Index plummeting by 50.73 points, or 1.88 percent, to close at 2,637.79. This reversal follows a gain of 78.17 points in the previous session.
Trading began at 2,698.52 points and reached a high of 2,734.58 points before dipping to a low of 2,630.11 points. A total of 324 companies were active throughout the day, with 119,739 transactions and a turnover of Rs. 10.34 billion. 24,846,782 shares changed hands during the session.
The market capitalization stood at Rs. 4.19 trillion, while the float market capitalization reached Rs. 1.47 trillion.
