**New York, NY – September 15, 2024** – Headlands Technologies LLC has taken a new position in the Vanguard Long-Term Corporate Bond ETF (VCLT) during the second quarter, according to recent SEC filings. The firm purchased 2,007 shares of the ETF, valued at approximately $152,000.
Headlands is not alone in their interest in VCLT. Other notable investors have also adjusted their holdings in the ETF, with some increasing their positions and others acquiring new stakes.
Aptus Capital Advisors LLC, for example, increased their holdings in VCLT by 73.5% during the second quarter. Meanwhile, SouthState Corp and Principal Securities Inc. acquired new stakes in the ETF during the second and fourth quarters, respectively.
VCLT, which seeks to track the performance of a market-weighted corporate bond index with a long-term maturity, opened at $81.60 on Friday. The ETF has a 12-month low of $67.47 and a 12-month high of $81.78. Its 50-day moving average is $78.82, and its two-hundred-day moving average is $77.20.
This recent activity suggests continued investor interest in the long-term corporate bond market. As interest rates remain volatile, investors may be seeking the stability and income potential offered by long-term bonds.
