Sun Sep 15 14:15:25 UTC 2024: ## 1977 Ford Bronco with a Mustang Heart and F-250 Guts Hits the Auction Block

**[City, State] -** A 1977 Ford Bronco with a custom touch is currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer. This Bronco, originally acquired in California in 1996, has seen Nevada and Wisconsin, and has undergone a thorough refurbishment.

Under the hood lies the heart of a 1989 Mustang GT – a fuel-injected 5.0L V8, complete with ceramic-coated headers. Power is channeled through a ZF5 five-speed manual transmission sourced from a 1989 Ford F-250, paired with a Ceterforce clutch.

The Bronco boasts a 4″ suspension lift and a 2″ body lift, allowing for the impressive 33×12.5″ Mastercraft Courser MT tires to be mounted on eight-hole 15” wheels. Other upgrades include Dana 20 transfer case with a twin-stick shifter, Dana 44 front axle, front disc brakes, dual front shocks, and a 9″ rear axle.

The exterior is painted in a striking metallic copper and features a removable black hardtop, powder-coated roll cage, fabricated bumpers with integrated spare tire carrier, quick-release door hinges, a receiver hitch, and cut fenders with black wheel arch moldings.

Inside, the Bronco features front bucket seats with aftermarket covers, a fold-and-tumble rear bench, diamond plate trim, bedliner material on the floors, front shoulder belts, an electronic brake controller, a Kenwood head unit, and Polk speakers. The odometer shows approximately 70,000 miles, with 30,000 of those added under the current ownership.

While the Bronco presents a visually stunning package, the seller notes some minor rust on the fenders and in the corners of the engine bay.

This well-equipped, ruggedized 1977 Ford Bronco is sure to turn heads, and is now awaiting its next owner. The auction is currently underway on Bring a Trailer.
