Former President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of another debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, despite previously refusing to participate in a second encounter.
On Friday, Trump suggested that he might reconsider if he “got in the right mood,” adding that he felt he had already “answered everything” in the first debate. However, he remains unsure, emphasizing that he is currently “leading” in the polls.
Trump’s change of heart comes after his initial refusal on Thursday, claiming that he had already “won” the first debate against Harris. He declared he wouldn’t participate in any further debates, claiming he had “destroyed” the country under the Biden-Harris administration.
While Trump initially insisted he wouldn’t need anything to participate in another debate, he has yet to definitively confirm or deny his participation. His remarks have left the possibility of a second debate open, although his decision remains uncertain.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5th, with both Trump and Harris as their respective party’s official candidates. The first debate between Trump and Harris took place on Tuesday, marking their first meeting since Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee in July.
