**New Delhi:** Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, granted bail by the Supreme Court in the ongoing excise policy case, faces significant restrictions that have sparked controversy regarding his ability to effectively govern.
While the bail order, which includes conditions preventing Kejriwal from visiting the CM’s office or signing official files without the Lieutenant Governor’s approval, is a boost for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ahead of upcoming elections, concerns remain about its impact on day-to-day governance.
The BJP has seized on the restrictions, claiming that Kejriwal is essentially “chief minister only for the bungalow, car and security” and calling for his resignation. They argue that his inability to fully perform his duties renders him unfit to lead.
