**Swansea, Wales** – A 33-year-old man from Falkirk, Scotland, has died in hospital almost a month after being assaulted in Swansea, South Wales Police confirmed. Andrew Main died on August 14th, four weeks after sustaining injuries near the entrance to the Travelodge hotel on Princess Way on July 17th.

Two men, Joseph Dix, 26, of Frome, and Macauley Ruddock, 27, of Bath, have been charged with Mr. Main’s murder. They appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Friday and entered not guilty pleas. A trial is scheduled for January.

Mr. Main’s sister, Nikki, released a statement through South Wales Police, paying tribute to her brother. “Andrew – my baby brother – was sadly taken from us far too soon,” she wrote. “He was adored by family and friends and beloved by more. We are absolutely devastated by his sudden passing and ask anyone with information to please, please come forward.”

Nikki described her brother as a “witty man with a huge heart – loyal to the core,” adding that he was a “fabulous brother, fun uncle, and supportive daddy to his two children.” She concluded by saying, “There will never be anyone like Andrew. The hole that has been left in our hearts will never be filled.”

South Wales Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. The investigation into Mr. Main’s death continues.
