**Brussels, Belgium -** Olympic silver medalist Neeraj Chopra will conclude his 2024 season at the Diamond League Final in Brussels on Saturday, September 14th. Competing in the men’s javelin throw, Chopra will be aiming for a strong performance after securing his spot in the final with a fourth-place finish in the overall standings.

The 26-year-old Indian athlete earned 14 points from his two second-place finishes in Doha and Lausanne. While Chopra sits two points behind last year’s winner, Jakub Vadlejch (Czech Republic), Grenada’s Anderson Peters and German star Julian Weber hold the top two positions with 29 and 21 points respectively.

Chopra’s best throw this season came in Lausanne, where he reached 89.49m – his second-best throw ever. Only Peters has surpassed that mark, setting a new Meet Record of 90.61m in Lausanne, breaking the previous record of 90.16 set by Keshorn Walcott in 2015.

The men’s javelin throw final will start at 11:52 PM IST at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels and will be broadcasted on the Viacom18 network and streamed live on the JioCinema app and website.
