**Agra, India:** In a shocking incident, a 16-foot python was discovered in the Yamuna forest of Parana village near Agra, having swallowed a calf whole. Shepherds stumbled upon the scene, finding the giant snake curled up in a field with more than half of the cow’s body still inside its throat.
A large crowd of villagers quickly gathered, determined to save the calf. They used sticks to try and push the animal out of the snake’s body, but tragically, the calf had already suffocated inside.
Villagers claim that they alerted the Forest Department but the team did not arrive in time to assist in the rescue. Video footage of the villagers surrounding the massive snake and eventually capturing it has gone viral on social media. They reportedly used sticks to restrain the python before ultimately releasing it back into the forest.
