**CONYERS, GA** – Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) will be hosting Open House nights throughout October and November for families interested in the 2025-2026 School Specialty and Choice programs.

These open houses are a chance for students and families to learn more about the various programs offered, including those outside of their assigned neighborhood school zones. RCPS encourages everyone interested in applying to attend the open house for the program they are considering.

The application window for these specialty and choice programs opens on November 8th and closes on December 13th. Applications can be submitted online at http://www.rockdaleschools.org/specialtyandchoice.

It’s important to note that non-traditional programs such as the Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology, Rockdale Career Academy, Rockdale Open Campus, and Rockdale Virtual Campus are not included in this application process. These programs have separate application procedures and deadlines. Families interested in these programs should consult their school counselor for more information.
