Garland, TX – Ralph Eugene “Robby” Roberts, a beloved husband, father, and veteran, passed away peacefully on September 3rd at the age of 80. Roberts, who was born in Topeka, Kansas, served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and later had a successful career at AT&T.
Roberts was known for his strong work ethic, sharp wit, and dedication to his family. He enjoyed bowling, golf, square dancing, gardening, and was a devoted fan of NASCAR and the Texas Rangers.
Roberts is survived by his wife of 59 years, Laura June Andrews Roberts, his three sons, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 22nd at noon at the family home in Garland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Ralph’s memory.
