**Dubai:** The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will remain in Pakistan, with no teams expressing any hesitation about playing in the country.
ICC Chief Executive Jeff Allardyce addressed the media during the Women’s T20 World Cup briefing, assuring that the ICC is confident in Pakistan’s ability to host the tournament. He emphasized that regular visits to member countries, including Pakistan, are conducted to ensure successful event hosting.
“All teams are committed to playing in Pakistan,” Allardyce stated, acknowledging previous challenges but reiterating the determination of all participating teams to compete in the country.
The Champions Trophy, known as the ‘Mini World Cup’, will feature eight top teams: India, Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The qualification is based on their performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
Pakistan is the defending champion, having won the trophy in England in 2017 by defeating India in the final.
