Fri Sep 13 07:47:40 UTC 2024: ## MLA Arikepudi Gandhi’s Abusive Language Against Fellow MLA Sparks Outrage
**Hyderabad, September 12 (Namasthe Telangana):** MLA Arikepudi Gandhi’s use of abusive language against fellow MLA Kaushik Reddy has sparked controversy and widespread criticism. During a public outburst, Gandhi referred to Reddy as a “broker” and a “son of a broker” while issuing a challenge to meet him for a confrontation.
“If you have the guts, come at 11 am,” Gandhi said, “or I will come at 12 pm. Let’s settle this, you broker’s son.” He further accused Reddy of being a “coward” and a “criminal” who had come to his constituency, Sherilingampally, “to earn a living.”
Gandhi’s inflammatory remarks have sparked outrage among the public, who have condemned his derogatory language. Many have pointed out that Sherilingampally is a diverse area with people from various backgrounds, and that Gandhi’s words are a blatant insult to all residents.
“Is Huzurabad in a different country?” a local resident asked. “Does someone need permission from him to come to Sherilingampally?”
Others expressed anger at Gandhi’s broad generalizations, stating that he was disrespecting voters from all areas who had supported him. They have demanded an unconditional apology from the MLA for his offensive remarks.
Gandhi’s supporters, however, chanted slogans in support of him, further escalating the situation.
The incident highlights a growing trend of aggressive rhetoric in Telangana politics, raising concerns about the impact on public discourse.
