**Hyderabad, September 13, 2024:** The much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit “Mattu Vadalara”, titled “Mattu Vadalara 2”, has hit theaters today. The film, directed by Ritesh Rana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment, stars Sri Simha Koduri, Faria Abdullah, Satya, and Sunil.
“Mattu Vadalara 2” picks up right where its predecessor left off, following the comedic misadventures of Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu (Satya). Forced to find new jobs after losing their delivery gigs, they join the HE (High in Emergency) team, a group specializing in handling high-pressure cases like kidnappings and murders.
The film blends crime and comedy seamlessly, with Babu and Yesu finding themselves caught up in a series of kidnapping cases. Their attempts to make a quick buck by exploiting the situations lead them into dangerous territory.
The first half sets the stage, with Babu and Yesu successfully handling kidnapping cases, while also indulging in their greed. The interval, however, throws a curveball, as they find themselves implicated in the murder of a young woman named Riya. This twist sets the stage for an engaging second half, where the duo, along with their senior, Nidhi (Faria Abdullah), try to unravel the truth and clear their names.
“Mattu Vadalara 2” is a laugh-out-loud experience, with Satya stealing the show with his impeccable comic timing. The film also features strong performances from Sri Simha and Faria Abdullah.
The technical aspects of the film are equally impressive, with captivating cinematography, a fitting background score, and well-choreographed action sequences.
While the plot and narrative style might feel familiar to those who enjoyed the first part, “Mattu Vadalara 2” still manages to entertain with its blend of crime, suspense, and comedy. The film is a must-watch for fans of lighthearted entertainment and deserves a 3-star rating.
