Katy Perry turned heads at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in New York with a sultry, island-inspired ensemble. The “Woman’s World” singer flaunted her toned physique in a tattered gauze top and matching maxi skirt by the designer Who Decides War, giving off a “sexy castaway” vibe.
Perry’s look was further enhanced by her wet-wave hair and dewy makeup, completing the dripping aesthetic. Accompanying her was longtime partner Orlando Bloom, looking dapper in a black suit.
The evening was a big one for Perry, as she was honored with the Video Vanguard Award, MTV’s equivalent of a lifetime achievement award. Before the ceremony even began, she snagged a Moon Person trophy for Most Iconic Performance for her 2013 rendition of “Roar.”
