Fri Sep 13 05:47:54 UTC 2024: ## Kareena Kapoor’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ to Release in Two Versions for Wider Reach
**Mumbai, India (September 12, 2024) -** Kareena Kapoor Khan’s much-anticipated crime mystery-thriller, “The Buckingham Murders,” is set to hit theaters tomorrow, September 13th, in two versions: Hinglish and Hindi dubbed. The decision comes in an attempt to reach a wider audience and ensure accessibility for all.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, “The Buckingham Murders” features a unique Hinglish dialogue, which utilizes a blend of Hindi and English. To maintain an authentic accent, Mehta cast actors from the same locality, resulting in a realistic and immersive experience. However, recognizing the potential language barrier for some viewers, the filmmakers have opted to release a Hindi dubbed version alongside the original.
“We want everyone to experience this compelling story,” said a representative from the film’s production team. “The 50-50 screen strategy will allow viewers to choose the version that best suits their preference.”
The trailer for “The Buckingham Murders” showcases Kareena as a detective and mother who embarks on a harrowing journey to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire, following the loss of her own child. The film also features Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen in pivotal roles.
Written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, “The Buckingham Murders” is a production by Mahana Films and TBM Films, presented by Balaji Telefilms, and co-produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and first-time producer Kareena Kapoor.
Kareena was last seen in the Netflix thriller “Jaane Jaan” and will soon be gracing the big screen in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Returns,” alongside Ajay Devgn.
