**Gaza City, October 26, 2023** – In a shocking move, Israel has offered to guarantee the safety of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader and mastermind behind the October 7th attack on Israel, in exchange for the release of the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza. However, such a move would undermine Israel’s repeated promises to eliminate Sinwar, who was last seen fleeing Gaza’s tunnels with his family on October 10th.
