Peacock’s new limited series, “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,” takes viewers back to the 1970s, where an armed robbery unfolds during Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight, a pivotal moment in Atlanta’s rise as the Black Mecca. The series, based on the iHeart true-crime podcast, features an impressive cast including Kevin Hart, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, and Terrence Howard.

The eight-episode series premiered on September 5th, with the first three episodes available immediately. New episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays, culminating with the finale on October 10, 2024.

The story revolves around “Chicken Man,” played by Kevin Hart, who becomes entangled in a massive heist and bears the brunt of the blame. Don Cheadle’s J.D. Hudson, Chicken’s former adversary, doesn’t make things easy as Chicken attempts to clear his name.
