**Eindhoven, Netherlands -** Morphotonics, a company specializing in nanoimprinting technology solutions, has announced a successful first closing of its Series B financing round, securing over $10 million (approximately €9 million). The round is expected to close fully by the end of the year.
The funding will fuel Morphotonics’ ambitious plans to revolutionize global display technology by advancing 3-D displays, making Augmented Reality (AR) smart glasses more accessible, and providing energy-efficient solutions for mobile devices.
The funding round saw participation from new investors 3M and BOM (Brabant Development Agency), alongside existing backer Innovation Industries. BOM and Innovation Industries jointly led the round.

Morphotonics’ Roll-to-Plate (R2P) technology, capable of adding trillions of lenses over areas larger than one square meter, drives the company’s innovation. This technology enables the creation of high-performance mobile screens, 3D displays, outdoor-readable smartphones, and immersive AR smart glasses.
The funding will enable Morphotonics to scale operations, expand its global customer base – particularly in Asia – and establish fully automated large-area nanoimprinting as a standard in display optics production.
