Thu Sep 12 08:06:59 UTC 2024: ## Dundee United Loan Young Defender to Kelty Hearts

Dundee United has loaned promising defender Sam Cleall-Harding to Kelty Hearts for the upcoming season. The 18-year-old centre-back impressed with the Tangerines’ U/18 side before moving up to the first-team group. He showcased his talent in a pre-season friendly against Luton Town and regularly featured on the senior bench at the start of the campaign. Cleall-Harding also captained Dundee United B in the SPFL Trust Trophy.

The young defender will now gain valuable experience in the third tier with Kelty Hearts, currently leading the league. This loan move follows a similar path taken by fellow Dundee United teenager Lewis O’Donnell, who excelled at Kelty last season.

Kelty Hearts manager Michael Tidser, recently named League One manager of the month, will hope Cleall-Harding’s arrival will further boost the team’s success.
