**New Delhi:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the CSIR UGC NET examination, which was conducted on 25th, 26th, and 27th July 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scorecards on the official websites of CSIR (csirnet.nta.ac.in) and NTA (nta.ac.in).

A total of 2,25,335 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 1,63,529 appeared. The exam was held in two shifts on the first two days – 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. On July 27th, the exam was conducted only in the first shift.

The exam was conducted across 348 centres in 187 cities. It is important to note that obtaining the scorecard does not guarantee selection. The final result will be declared by CSIR, who will also issue certificates to eligible candidates.
