Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has once again proven his immense popularity, with tickets for his upcoming “Dil-Luminati” India tour selling out within minutes of going on sale. The tickets, which went on sale to the public at 1 pm on Thursday, were snapped up almost instantly, following a similar pre-sale frenzy on Tuesday for HDFC Pixel Credit Card holders.
The tour, organized by Saregama India Ltd., promises a massive spectacle. Janamjai Sehgal, Business Head of Saregama India Ltd., revealed that over 1.5 lakh tickets have already been sold and anticipates a total of 2 lakh attendees across 10 venues. “On the first day of pre-sale, we saw 8-10,000 transactions per minute, selling 1 lakh tickets within 15 minutes,” Sehgal shared, highlighting the overwhelming demand. He added, “People are going to be surprised by the Delhi show. We’re doing one of the biggest setups that people in India have ever seen.”
The tour, which kicks off on October 26th in Delhi, will see Diljit performing across 10 Indian cities over a two-month period. He will then travel to Abu Dhabi on November 9th for the Middle East leg of “Dil-Luminati.” Before his India tour, Diljit will be in Europe, with his tour commencing on September 19th in Paris.
Ticket prices ranged from Rs. 1499 for the Silver Area to Rs. 19,999 for the Fan Pit in Delhi. The tour promises to be a spectacular affair, showcasing Diljit’s musical prowess and captivating stage presence. With such overwhelming demand, “Dil-Luminati” is sure to be a memorable experience for fans across India.
