Wed Sep 11 17:16:18 UTC 2024: ## AAP Releases Fourth List of Candidates for Haryana Assembly Elections

**Chandigarh, September 5:** The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, releasing the names of 21 more individuals. With this announcement, the party has now declared candidates for 61 of the 90 seats.

Notable candidates in the new list include Kavita Dalal, who will contest from the Julana seat against Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat, a prominent wrestler. Other key names include Sunil Bindal for Karnal, Sham Mehta for Sirsa, Lalit Tyagi for Yamunanagar, Sanjay Satrodiya for Hisar, and Nishant Anand for Gurgaon.

This move comes after the AAP decided to contest the Haryana elections solo, following failed negotiations with the Congress over seat-sharing. The party’s first list was released on Monday, followed by a second list after BJP leaders Sunil Rao and Satish Yadav joined the AAP.

AAP’s Haryana president Sushil Gupta emphasized their focus on all 90 seats, highlighting the limited time remaining before the nomination deadline of September 12.

“Our main fight is with corruption, with anti-school politics, with anti-hospital politics, with politics that took away job opportunities,” stated AAP leader Manish Sisodia at a nomination filing rally for Anurag Dhanda, the party’s state vice president, who is contesting from Kalayat.

The Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled for October 5, with voting concluding on the same day. The counting of votes is scheduled for October 8, alongside Jammu and Kashmir.
