**Chandigarh, September 12, 2024:** The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday announced the names of 19 more candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, bringing their total number of declared candidates to 109.

The party’s sixth list includes senior leader Prem Garg, who will contest from Panchkula. Other key nominations include Manish Arora for Ellenabad, O P Gujjar for Kalka, Wazir Singh Dhanda for Jind, Kamal Bisla for Fatehabad, Geeta Sheoran for Loharu, O P Verma for Badkhal and Himmat Yadav for Kosli.

AAP’s announcement comes amidst a heated political campaign in Haryana. The party had previously announced 70 candidates and released a list of 30 more on Wednesday, including former wrestler Kavita Dalal who will contest from Julana.

The AAP’s decision to field candidates separately from the Congress comes after their seat-sharing talks for the elections failed. The two parties had contested the Lok Sabha polls together in Delhi, but separately in Punjab and Haryana.

The last date for filing nominations for the Haryana Assembly elections is September 12. Voting is scheduled for October 5.
