**NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2024** – Stage 2 Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in go-to-market (GTM) execution, has announced its latest cohort for its 2024 Catalyst program. The program, which provides hands-on training and guidance to early-stage B2B software companies, has attracted a diverse group of startups developing AI-powered solutions across various sectors.
This year’s cohort includes companies focusing on AI-driven accounting automation for SMBs, project management for environmental contractors, and LLM red-teaming.
“We chose Catalyst due to Stage 2 Capital’s unparalleled GTM prowess and deep bench of best-in-class industry practitioners,” said Julia Tolmachyov, Co-founder and CEO at DayZero, a participant in the 2024 cohort. “We’re at a critical inflection point in our GTM journey, and we couldn’t be happier to have Stage 2 and their expansive network of LPs by our side.”
The Catalyst program provides selected companies with a $200,000 investment and access to a 12-week curriculum focused on building scalable revenue engines. Founders receive direct guidance from a network of GTM executive LPs from leading B2B software companies like Databricks, Procore, Crossbeam, and Stripe.
Stage 2 Capital’s approach has proven highly effective, with many Catalyst graduates achieving significant growth and securing follow-on funding. One-third of the 2022 cohort saw their annual recurring revenue (ARR) increase tenfold within a year of graduating.
“Stage 2 Capital Catalyst was a game-changer,” said Skylar Talley, Co-founder and CEO of MedScout, a 2022 Catalyst graduate who recently secured a $15 million Series A funding round. “It helped us pinpoint exactly where we stood in our journey to product-market fit and provided a clear roadmap to scaling Go-to-Market Fit.”
Stage 2 Capital, co-founded by Jay Po and Mark Roberge, leverages its unique network of over 800 senior executives from leading companies to provide its portfolio companies with invaluable GTM expertise. The firm invests in B2B software companies at the seed and Series A stage.
