The album, which she described as a “Beyoncé” album, was an attempt to bridge the gap between genres and celebrate the rich history of Black contributions to country music.
While Beyoncé’s album didn’t receive any nominations at the CMAs, Shaboozey’s recognition serves as a testament to her impact on the country music landscape.
