**Vrindavan, September 11, 2024:** The auspicious festival of Radha Ashtami is being celebrated today, marking the birth anniversary of Radha Rani, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. This day holds immense significance for devotees, symbolizing the selfless divine love shared between Radha and Krishna.

Radha Ashtami is believed to bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to homes. Devotees flock to the shrine of Radha Rani, located 43 kilometers from Vrindavan at the Brahmachal Mountain in Barsana. Known as the “Shri Ji Darbar,” the shrine is believed to bless devotees with love, wealth, and prosperity.

**How to Worship Radha Rani on Radha Ashtami:**

* Bathe early in the morning and bring a metal or stone statue of Radha Rani.
* Bathe the statue with panchamrit and adorn it with new clothes.
* In the afternoon, install the statue in a copper or earthen pot, covered with two cloths, within a mandap.
* Offer food, incense, lamps, flowers, and fruits to Radha Rani.
* Perform her aarti.

* **For Love and Harmony:** Perform a joint puja of Radha and Krishna, offering Krishna yellow clothes and Radha pink clothes. Chant the mantra “Radha Vallabhay Namah.”
* **For Unwavering Devotion:** Perform a joint midday puja of Radha and Krishna. Light a ghee lamp in front of them and offer tulsi leaves and misri. Chant the doha “Meri bhav badha haro, Radha Nagari soi, ja tan ki jhaain pare, Shyam harit duti hoi” 108 times.
