**Mumbai:** Telugu superstar Jr NTR has admitted to feeling nervous about the upcoming release of his action drama film, ‘Devara: Part 1’. Speaking at the film’s trailer launch in Mumbai, the actor shared that this is his first solo release after six years and follows the massive success of ‘RRR’.
“I am very nervous because this is my next film post ‘RRR’,” Jr NTR confessed. “Moreover, ‘RRR’ was with my co-actor Ram Charan, but this is my solo release after six years, so there is a lot of nervousness building.” He added, “But I am very happy to launch the trailer of ‘Devara’ in the city of Mumbai because the experience we had while promoting ‘RRR’ was just surreal. The acceptance of the North has shocked us all. I hope it’s repeated with ‘Devara’.”
The event saw the presence of the film’s lead actors, including Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, director Koratala Siva, and producers.
‘Devara: Part 1’ sees Jr NTR in a dual role, playing both Devara and Varadha. The storyline revolves around a power struggle in a coastal setting, with the actor’s characters at the center of the dramatic clash.
When asked about the film, Jr NTR described it as an action-packed drama, highlighting the final 40 minutes as a particular highlight. “I will call it an action drama. It’s high on action… Can’t wait for the world to see. The last half an hour or the last 40 minutes of the film will rock you all,” he said.
Saif Ali Khan, making his Telugu debut in the film, expressed his excitement about the project. He shared his initial nervousness about speaking Telugu, but expressed his admiration for the South film industry and his belief in the film’s success.
‘Devara: Part 1’ is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on September 27.
