**Waterloo, Canada (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)** – The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) announced today the welcoming of 17 new and 6 returning fellows to its Digital Policy Hub for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Hub, launched in 2023, provides a platform for emerging scholars and innovative thinkers to delve into the evolution and governance of transformative technologies.

“We are thrilled with the progress of the Hub,” said Paul Samson, President of CIGI. “It brings together brilliant minds in a unique transdisciplinary setting, fostering intellectual growth and career development for the next generation of research, policy, and business leaders.”

The Hub connects students and professionals from across Canada, both virtually and in person, to explore the cutting edge of transformative technology governance. Fellows engage in research, seminars, and professional development sessions led by CIGI experts. Their work is then published on the Hub’s digital platform and presented at research conferences open to the public.
