**ETHARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 10, 2024** – The University of Connecticut Men’s NCAA championship basketball team soared to Washington, D.C. today aboard an Avelo Airlines flight, headed to a White House victory ceremony hosted by President Biden. Avelo, a proud partner of UConn Athletics, provided the Huskies with their second consecutive flight to the White House.

The Huskies departed from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) at approximately 9:30 a.m. aboard one of Avelo’s 19 Boeing Next-Generation 737 jetliners. The 90-minute flight landed at Washington’s Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Avelo will fly the team back to Hartford later today.
