However, the show’s development wasn’t as straightforward as it seems. Executive producer Mary Livanos revealed that the numerous title changes were actually an elaborate prank on Marvel fans.

Livanos explained that the writers’ room had a blast coming up with increasingly outlandish names for the show, seeing how many believably fake TV show titles they could create. The cast even got in on the fun, playing along with the elaborate ruse.

“It was a real blast to release crazier and crazier ones as the production went on, and our cast was so game, too. The nature of the stunt felt very Agatha,” Livanos said.
